The new <a href=\"https:\/\/awp.landfood.ubc.ca\/degrees-courses\/undergraduate-courses\/apbi-496\/#vancouver-aquarium-marine-mamm-0\">Applied Biology Animal Practicum<\/a> (APBI 496) location is supported by Adjunct Professor Dr. Sara Dubois and applications are now open!<\/p>\n<p>The practicum will involve hands-on experience working at both bear and elephant sanctuary locations, learning husbandry, animal behaviour, ethics, and medical care of rescued animals in permanent captivity. The experiential learning opportunity will also offer students to gain knowledge of local Indian culture and traditions.<\/p>\n<p>Cost: UBC 6-credit tuition fee + Wildlife SOS location fee ($2800CAD including accommodations and food); flights, visa, vaccines, insurance; travel incidentals<\/p>\n<p>Interested in this opportunity?
