TED: Sugata Mitra on “Child-Driven Education”

I mentioned this video in class and thought I’d share.  I found it to be quite inspiring and it fits in quite nicely with the issues of the role of technology in education and universal access / demographic inequality that we brought up yesterday.

  1. That’s fascinating! The act of learning is so dynamic and creative. I love the different ways to approach teaching and learning and Mitra puts quite an elegant twist on the idea of group work and “Child-Driven Education.” I would love to see this at work in a Canadian school environment.
