Hi! \u00a0I’m Katie, a\u00a0Dual MLIS\/MAS student in UBC’s School of Library, Archival and Information Studies. \u00a0I\u00a0am originally from\u00a0the United States, grew up in Ohio and Kentucky, and lived in California prior to venturing to Canada for grad school.<\/p>\n

My educational background is in English Literature, with a BA from the University of Kentucky and an MA from the University of California, Riverside. \u00a0Most of my professional experience is in the nonprofit sector, having worked as a fundraiser for many years at a land conservation organization.<\/p>\n

When I’m not working, I’m probably playing in the mountains, reading (duh), making a mess in the kitchen, and hanging out with my wonderful husband and crazy old dog.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
