A little about myself:
I am studying computer science at the University of British Columbia here in beautiful Vancouver, BC. This is through the BCS (bachelor of computer science) program here, which is a second degree program aimed at people who have already completed degrees. I have a chemical engineering degree from UCLA, and I worked in the field of biotechnology with that degree for a number of years.
Being in Vancouver is a refreshing change for me. I love the fresh air, the cool weather, and even the rain. I love how I can see beautiful mountains from downtown, and everywhere there’s nature. I have only been here for a little over a year, but I can’t get enough of it. Who knows, I might stay.
Right now I am working at an internship at a software company downtown called SAP. I’ll be back at UBC soon to complete the final year of my computer science degree, then the sky’s the limit!
