Global Resource Systems

Welcome to my blog site! My name is Olivia Szostek, and I am a undergraduate student at the University of British Columbia in the faculty of Global Resource Systems. My studies currently are focused around water as a natural resource, primarily in North America. As many can relate, the focus of my degree has evolved over time and is likely to continue doing so throughout the remainder of my time at UBC.

I hope to explore many more opportunities before finishing my time here at UBC. This includes partaking in an academic exchange, formulating my own directed studies, and landing myself an internship or practicum within my field of interest. This blog will be able to serve as the story of my journey through my undergraduate degree.
