Victor did a great job of walking the group through the basic process of scanning and analysing a poem. This graphic organizer is intended to help students identify and visually represent some of the different features and literary elements of a poem. The organizer is a scaffold to help learners structure and justify a personal interpretation of a poem in the form of a written poetry response/analysis. The organizer also lends itself to think/pair/share and discussion-based activities.
