Assignment 2: Characterization

Example Text

Characterization Graphic Organizer

Kirsten presented my lesson and graphic organizer with enthusiam and eloquence. She began by expertly explaining the literary device of characterization along with its two types: direct and indirect. She read the example text to the group clearly and gave examples of each type of characterization. She was able to correctly identify examples of both types, and encouraged others in the group to do the same in order to fill out the graphic organizer.

Attached is the characterization graphic organizer that I created in my practicum for use for the novel Tuck Everlasting in English 8 and a text I found for this activity.
