I remember asking if you wanted<\/p>\n
anything from the kitchen<\/p>\n
and your response was<\/p>\n
a ragged half breath<\/p>\n

I remember hoping that you were<\/p>\n
Playing a game and that this<\/p>\n
Was not really happening to you<\/p>\n
(After all the doctor had just<\/p>\n
Released you the day before<\/p>\n
With a clean bill of health and only<\/p>\n
The request that you stop drinking)<\/p>\n
What do I remember of your death?<\/p>\n
I remember the pain of having to make the choice<\/p>\n
between life support and release.<\/p>\n
How I was 18 and looked upon as the<\/p>\n
Only one who could decide because<\/p>\n
Your fianc\u00e9e was to drunk or high or<\/p>\n
Incompetent.<\/p>\n
