The creation of a literature review is inevitable for any graduate student. Traditional approaches to the production a solid lit review tend to be based on close reading, a practice very effective to explore research within a single field, but limited when you are trying to reach outside the boundaries of one discipline. The embracement of digital tools and the emergence of recent approaches such as the concept of “Distant reading” can enable us to go beyond these limitations. In this workshop we will explore a few of these tools.
