Came because of Prof’s recommendation and stayed because I saw the frog thumbnail and all your posters in the back :> anyway to answer your question- I think being thrown back and forth between memories adds to the theme of confusion and forces us to live with feeling uncomfortable. As we discussed in class today, Proust isn’t necessarily a shit writer, but mIGHT BE A GENIUS for forcibly making us confused. Through the in-between, we discover something newer each time we try to piece together and make sense of whats happening.
