After all, not everyone will want to talk with you. So you will have to face rejection. But you will be surprised at\u00a0how receptive most people are to having a meaningful\u00a0conversation with a stranger.<\/p>\n<p>Why talk to strangers? There&#8217;s a thousand reasons to talk with a stranger. They run the gamut from making friends to getting a date. The bottom line is that the biggest social concern for Vancouverites is a lack of community. If we are to have stronger\u00a0communities in Vancouver, we need to transform strangers into friends.
