BCBEA Biztech & my practicum placement announced!
On Friday, October 23, my Business Education cohort attended the BCBEA conference called “BizTech”. It was held in David Thompson Secondary School, my own high school.
The BCBEA conference was the first Business Education for all of us in the Business Cohort, so it was exciting meeting teachings from various schools and to learn about different topics such as the new curriculum, Android Apps, and Teachers Financial Planning.
My second school visit: Burnaby North Secondary School
My second school visit was at Burnaby North Secondary School. It’s the same high school as my faculty adviser, Vincent Chan. The school is split into two buildings, with each bulding having its only cafeteria. It was a pleasure meeting Vincent’s colleagues and students in the school.
My first school visit: Burnaby Central Secondary School
On Tuesday, October 13, I went to my first school visit at Burnaby Central Secondary School. I was very excited to visit another high school since my own high school graduation. I am familiar with the previous Burnaby Central school, and I wasn’t even aware the school has been renovated. Everything in the school still feels so new! It was a pleasure meeting the teachers and eating with everyone in the staff lounge.
