It is becoming the <a title=\"No Casino Toronto\" href=\"http:\/\/nocasinotoronto.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">hottest debate<\/a> of whether or not this casino will bring in more financial benefits than the harm it will cause to the local community.<\/p>\n<p>In my perspective, having a casino in Toronto is a sign of desire to enhance its tourism industry. It is true that this will decrease the unemployment rate and will attract more foreigners to the city. However, for the sake of the city development, the city councils should be able to foresee that a casino will ultimately destroy the peacefulness in the local community.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sterling-ma.gov\/Pages\/SterlingMA_Police\/gamble\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" title=\"Gambling, fun or addiction?\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sterling-ma.gov\/Pages\/SterlingMA_Police\/0188A784-000F8513.2\/gambling-addiction.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"272\" height=\"355\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>There are a lot of side effects from having a new casino. The competition with Casino Niagara and Casino Rama will become fiercer. These domestic competitions might not benefit the casino industry in general. In addition, it is inevitable that when the casino is build, the governments will need to invest more money on the gambling addiction rehabs. Also, there will be a potential increase in respect of the crime rate; this will ultimately threaten the social security.<\/p>\n<p>In my opinion, Toronto councils should re-consider this case more seriously not only as an economic booster, but also consider the social problems it will cannibalize the local community.
