Thank you for visiting my blog and welcome to my Biography page! Like most of you, I am also an undergraduate student studying at the University of British Columbia. As a student majoring in Biology, I enjoy learning about all living things, whether it being humans, animals, or plants. Life, in itself, often makes me wonder and marvel how amazing all the creations are. I have always been fascinated by the details and exactness of the structures and functions of the living things and how every macro and micro parts work together so perfectly. Every day, the living objects around me never cease to amaze me and motivate me to learn more about them. With my curiosity and eagerness to learn, I have taken many courses in biology and have also participated in various volunteer and job opportunities in the related field. From my experiences, I realize that the easiest way to learn is through teaching the material to others. Explaining helps me to truly understand the content and find out what I know and what I do not know. With my passion in helping others, working with people, and sharing with others what I love, my interest for teaching starts to grow. My hope is to spread what I love to others and to inspire them in the field of my academic interest. I hope to teach in a way that brings biology from the dead letters in textbooks to the living images in real life. I believe that technical writing is crucial in all professions, including education, as it is a channel to connect us with technology and a way to solve the complex problems we have in life.
