While Apple was introducing their new iPhone7 on their season event, people were excitedly talking on the social media about the new revolution — wireless bluetooth Airpods.
Many people were complaining and criticizing the remove of traditional headphone jack, saying the revolution is ‘stupid’. Music lovers concerned about the quality of bluetooth earbuds. Others are afraid of losing one of the AirPods and the situation does exist after. People are also saying that they will keep losing one of the Airpods and buy new ones again and again. The appearance of Airpods seems not that attractive as well like someone saying ‘Are they toothbrush on ears?’
Apple made the public doubt them for many times such as when they produced iPhone6 with a larger screen size. However, with distinguished quality of iPhone itself Apple don’t lose customers and money. The AirPods have advantages such as:
-Pause music automatically when earphones are off of ears
-Connect Macbook, apple watch and iPhone automatically
-Double click to active Siri
-Automatically play music when earphones are on ears
Apple insists that removing the headphone jack was an act of “courage;” a bold willingness to sacrifice the comfortably familiar and push us toward the wireless-headphone future. Plus, ditching the classic 3.5 mm jack apparently makes room for bigger batteries and better cameras inside the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus. Meanwhile, as Apple is now having a try in the market, other side products regarding AirPods appeared. 3D Printing company M3D has produced an earring design they call “Twisty Earbud Catchers.” As the name implies, they will catch your AirPods if and when they fall out of your ears. They are essentially little basketball hoops for your ears. Hopefully they can succeed in catching your expensive earphones so that you won’t have to spend more money to replace them.
Like Frank Peng mentioned in his blog that every innovation cannot be guaranteed with a success, Apple started with courage. With strong and outstanding technical support itself, Apple will improve the AirPods and let the wireless earphones be the trend.
