MyRevelstoke2030 is an exciting project on visualizing neighbourhood plans in Revelstoke British Columbia. This project is a partnership between the City of Revelstoke and a research group at the University of British Columbia. We are using cutting edge multi-touch-table technology to help you visualize two Revelstoke neighbourhood centres. Community residents will be invited to imagine the range of future options that are possible under the new Unified Development Bylaw.
This work is part of a research study entitled Measured Visualization of Urban Form Scenarios as a Means to Community Engagement in Planning. For further information please contact Maged Senbel at the University of British Columbia (maged.senbel@ubc.ca or 604-822-9158). This work is being done by a team from UBC and the City of Revelstoke funded by the Pacific Institute for Climate Solutions.
