Hello, my name is Mark Viola and I am Visual Arts teacher from Toronto. Recently I have taken on a leadership role in my school which focuses on implementing technology into the classroom. Basically, I have been helping teachers integrate various forms of technology into their classes, running workshops and chairing a Technology Committee at my school.

This year I also received approval to run a small iPad trial. Currently I am working with 10 other teachers  – our goal is to try to integrate the iPad into our teaching practice in as many ways as possible. It is amazing and overwhelming to say the least!

I am very excited about the MET program. This is my first course and I am quite nervous. I look forward to working with you all.
