My favourites from this year: <\/p>\n<p>Mad props to <a href=\"http:\/\/guardian.co.uk\">The Guardian<\/a> for their <a href=\"http:\/\/www.guardian.co.uk\/commentisfree\/2010\/mar\/31\/gordon-brown-tough-guy\">Gordon Brown\/Labour election coverage<\/a>. You made waking up for an early-morning meeting so much more bearable, despite almost choking on my peach-and-mango tea with laughter.  <\/p>\n<p>And of course, Google. The web giant&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.zdnet.com.au\/google-to-leave-australia-over-evil-filter-339302180.htm\">declaration to leave Australia with respect to its Internet filters<\/a> must have left Australians scrambling in their seats before realizing that it was a prank. Not that Google&#8217;s likely to do so any time soon, but the fact that they&#8217;ve done so previously must definitely add another layer to this jolly jaunt. <\/p>\n<p>Striking a little closer to home: AMS Confidential reports on the <a href=\"http:\/\/amsconfidential.wordpress.com\/2010\/04\/01\/like-baby-baby-baby-noooo\/\">further developments in the War on Fun<\/a>. Props, people, on keeping it lulzy this April Fools. <\/p>\n<p>I shall continue my scouring of the interwebs of amusing tidbits.
