On behalf of the MBIM URS Organizing Committee, it is our pleasure to welcome you to the 2025 Symposium. The MBIM URS celebrates the incredible research efforts of UBC MBIM and Biotechnology undergraduate students engaged in Directed Studies and Honours projects, Co-op placements, course-based research experiences, and other opportunities. We offer a platform for students to share their work, express their passion for scientific discovery, and connect with the broader academic community at UBC. 

We believe that science communication is essential to the research process. As Co-Chairs, we are honoured to offer a platform for students to showcase their findings, hone their presentation skills and engage in meaningful dialogue with peers, graduate students and faculty members.
