Although our current system has been quite a workhorse, we&#8217;d like something nice and shiny enough to allow folks to search the catalog through our <a href=\"http:\/\/www.qmunity.ca\/about-us\/library\/\" target=\"_blank\">website<\/a>. (And to let us print spine labels using something other than a dot-matrix printer.)<\/p>\n<p>Someone suggested <a href=\"http:\/\/www.readerware.com\/\">Readerware<\/a> but I&#8217;m curious about the open-source ILS options out there. Namely <a href=\"http:\/\/koha.org\/\">Koha<\/a> or <a href=\"http:\/\/www.open-ils.org\/\">Evergreen<\/a> or maybe even <a href=\"http:\/\/www.librarything.com\/organizations\">Librarything<\/a>.\u00a0 Does anyone have any experience with any of these, or recommendations of other systems to look at?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>One of the libraries where I volunteer is looking for a new OPAC to replace its current DOS &#8216;un, which is nearly as old as I am.
