As a member of a UBC MasterCard Foundation Scholars Program, you will be reflecting on your leadership development through experiences in the following pathways:
- Professional Development – Student Leadership Conference, Impact Lab, social media training, etc.
- Mentorship – Connecting with your own mentor via Jump Start or MCF
- Civic Engagement – volunteering in the community (e.g: reading week projects, etc.)
- On Campus Involvement –volunteering with a club or with your residence, etc.
- Knowledge-building in African context – African Studies course, AAI conference week event, leading an “Ubuntu” session, etc.
Through these pathways, you will be asked to reflect upon how you have developed competencies in the areas of:
