Newspapers used to be about subscription fee and delivery boys, but that’s all in the past. When you bused to school this morning, have you noticed how many people were holding this 30 pageddaily newspaper? Do you not see how next to almost every bus stop there was a 24 stand with free newspaper?
The demand for 24 hour newspaper is rapidly increasing, and this little orange stand have conveniently beat itscompetitors with its clever strategy of distribution.
24 Hours’ main target readers are commuters heading for work, which explains the clever placement of their stands next to the bus and sky-train stations. Due to lower demands on weekends and holidays, their papers are only published 5 days a week. Not only can 24 Hours be found in Vancouver, they are also published in Toronto, Ottawa, Calgary, Edmonton and Montreal.
The first time I noticed a 24 newsletter was back in high-school. In the morning, these free papers were placed at our school’s main entrance, and by afternoon, they were all gone. It was a joy to read our horoscope and play the crosswords during school break times, and it is still one of my favorite thing to do at work.
This paper offers a wide variety of local news, entertainment and advertisement. It is convenient and very resourceful, all at a very very reasonable price.
