Past
I grew up in the foothills of the western Sierra Nevada, which allowed me to have a close relationship with nature and the outdoors. In my high school years, I worked with Hands on the Land, assisting in trail building and general recreation and resource management, steering me towards a career in natural resources. I pursued a degree in Ecohydrology at University of Nevada, Reno where I graduated from in 2015. As an undergradutate, I was able to participate in several research projects, including an NSF funded REU at UC Santa Cruz. More information can be found in my CV.
Present
In 2016, I decided to further my education, entering the Earth and Environmental Sciences masters program at UBC Okanagan. My masters is funded by the Shuswap Watershed Council and focuses on nutrient research in the Shuswap Watershed ( more info here). I plan to defend my thesis and graduate in 2018, before pursing a career in land management.
