The “Occupy Central” movement is also referred to as the Umbrella Revolution, which is an anti-government action in Hong Kong. This protest happened on Sep 28^th 2014. The protesters protested outside the government building, blocked traffic over the Central district, created conflicts, impeded sectors, damaged the public order of Hong Kong, and threatened the public’s safety that would harm Hong Kong’s high reputation.

“Occupy Central” movement gives negative impacts to business of Hong Kong. This movement affects retail, catering, financial, trade and industry. If the movement keeps going, it will hit investors’ confidence for the business environment of Hong Kong.

This movement also impacts the tourism industry of Hong Kong. The Mainland Chinese tourists play a substantial role supporting the economy of Hong Kong industry. In 2013, mainland tourists’ total consumption in Hong Kong was HK$ 152.73 billion, equivalent to 7.2% of GDP in Hong Kong. Currently, there is a holiday for the National Day of China, however, the number of tourists decreased by 1.7% to last year, and the tourists from Mainland China decreased by 6.4%. Some countries like Canada and Australia issued travel warnings to Hong Kong. Since the “Occupy Central” movement happened, it caused the economic depression around HK$ 350 billion, equivalent every Hong Kong people lost HK$ 50,000.

The Hong Kong government have taken actions to handle this situation. They have arrested 19 people who are concerned related to crime.

“We are not seeking revolution. We just want democracy!” said Joshua Wong, a 17-year-old student leader. “We hope there will be no violence,” he said. “It would be unfortunate if this movement ended with bloodshed and violence.”

Traveling is a really enjoyable process in my life. I like traveling. Although I haven’t visited lots of countries yet, I will put all of them into my list. In the future, I will allocate a lot of time to go the destination on my list.

I have been Mount Huangshan. This mountain is located at the east of China. Mount Huangshan is one of great famous mountain in China. Its altitude is over 1800 meters. There are lots of rare plants, animals under first-class state protection, and famous waterfall and pine forest. We climbed the mountain by foot. When we reached the top of mountain, everything was under our feet; the scenery was too beautiful for words. Hiking is a great sport to improve overall physical health. Hiking can improve muscular fitness and lower risk of high blood pressure. Also it is good for weight control. Roughly, Hiking burns up 370 calories an hour. It exercises almost every part of our body.

This summer I got an opportunity to visit United Kingdom. I was really excited when I successfully apply for the UK visa. It was the first time I went and visited Europe and I chose United Kingdom as my first European destination. Starting my traveling at London, it is a most populous city in United Kingdom with over 13 million population. London is a fashionable and leading global city, and it has the strength in arts, fashion, media, commerce, finance, education, tourism and entertainment. I went to top attractions London Eye, Big Ben and British Museum.

The design of building is very different from North America. Besides, London is a shopping paradise. There are lots of fashion product and brands.

Tesla Motors, Inc. is a California based Company that designs, manufactures and sells electric cars and electric vehicle power-train components. Build in 2003, Tesla has a great technology on energy saving, but they didn’t find a right target market so that they suffered a loss in last ten years. However, the emergence of new Tesla model S opens a new page for Tesla’s future.

After Tesla changed their target market, their target turns to high-income customers in terms of its zero emission, powerful engine and beautiful surface features. Some high-income customers do consider emission. Compared with electric vehicles market, Tesla has a great technology advantage, so there is less competition. And compared with luxury motors market, like Benz, BMW, and Audi, model S takes advantage of lower price. Besides, no a burden of brand is another key of Tesla’s success. If everything is the same of a sports car, one label is Honda and another one is Lamborghini, which one will you choose?

The Roadster use lithium  battery. The battery is located at the bottom of vehicle and can be charged over 1000 times. Model S can constantly drive at least 370 km with a full battery. This feature beats most competitors. Based on its great energy saving system, it appeals some big companies like Benz and Toyota. Tesla cooperates with these companies by producing battery packs and chargers.

‘Zero emissions. Zero compromises.’  It is Tesla’s slogan. Tesla only produces electric vehicle instead of conventional vehicle. It will reduce emission from gasoline. The electric motors are environmental friendly.

‘By any measure, the tesla Model S is a truly remarkable automobile’, said by media. Tesla has received a satisfied feedback from their customers. There is a great potential power for Tesla becoming the trend of motor market.

Since the newest iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus came out, tons of customers decide to buy the new iPhone product. When I drove along No.3 road in Richmond at night (the day before new iPhonerelease), I saw there was a super long line over the Richmond Centre shopping mall outside. Hundreds of Apple’s fans were in a line waiting for the store opening. Especially, there were lots of Chinese in the line. Some Chinese called scalperwant to buy iPhone 6 only for reselling not for personal usage. They plan to buy as much as iPhone 6 they can and then resell it in Mainland China. As I heard from my friends, the new iPhone 6 plus can resell $800 more than original price at the first day selling. So lots of scalper thought it was a really good deal to buy a new iPhone 6 and resell it. The new iPhone 6 products does not release in Mainland China. The demand of new iPhone 6 is far more than expected. That’s the reason why scalpers buy as much iPhone 6 as they can and resell it to make profit.
