| Rationale to Lesson: This lesson will be taught as an introduction to Spring. The picture book will be a hook for students to get them interested in the various things we can see during spring. |

As I am giving out instructions on what to colour/underline I will be going around to ensure the students are able to: · Find the words in the poem we are discussing · Accurately colour/underline the words using the correct colour/shape
