About Me

I am currently a fourth year student in the Applied Animal Biology program at UBC. I have chosen this major due to my great interest in science and compassion towards animals. This has become even more important  after I adopted my two dogs and officially became a proud owner in the paw club. My career goal is to be able to apply my knowledge through academic training to promote animal welfare, perhaps in the field of veterinary medicine.

Besides being a full time student at UBC, I am also working part time in a veterinary clinic and a laboratory in order to gain some insight into the field. Through this experience, I understand the importance in communicating efficiently and precisely as it directly affects the welfare of the patients.

I hope I am able to learn a variety of techniques that are crucial for successful communication. Therefore, I may improve my skills to prepare myself for future endeavours.
