How has mentoring impacted your organization, your mentee&#8217;s organizaiton and your mentee&#8217;s perceptions?<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.vista.ubc.ca\/webct\/RelativeResourceManager\/Template\/Chat.png\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\" \/><strong>Reflection Task<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Post your response on the\u00a0<strong>Discussion Board<\/strong> under the heading<strong> Reflections on Mentoring Experience.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Interactivities<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Activity # 1 <\/strong>Your journey through eMentoring has taken you a long way. Now it is time to share your experiences with other eMentors. Use one of the 50 story telling tools on\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.vista.ubc.ca\/webct\/ContentPageServerServlet\/Interactivies%20of%20Reflections.html?pageID=4750289053151\">cogdogroo<\/a> to tell your story and share your journey with other eMentors.<\/p>\n<p>For example use\u00a0Flickr Tell a Story in 5 Frames at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.vista.ubc.ca\/webct\/ContentPageServerServlet\/Interactivies%20of%20Reflections.html?pageID=4750289053151\">Flickr<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Describe\u00a0 the impact that mentoring has had on you individually and what benefit\u00a0 it has had to not only you, but the organizaiton as well. Describe what you have learned, what worked for you, and what you would have done differnetly. Describe the positive aspects of being a mentor and describe what some of the curves on your jouney have been.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reflection Task <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><\/strong>Post your link to the Discussion Board under\u00a0<strong>Your eMentoring Experience.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Activity # 2<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Explore your journey through this course by taking our survey at [<em>link to survey<\/em>]. Think about if this was an appropriate environment for your learning, did it meet your needs, and how well was the course designed. Comment on these ideas and your own on our mentor survey site.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Activity # 3.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Reflection Task <\/strong>During the course you have been working on a journal about your shared experience with your mentee. Provide a summary of your ejournal experience. We expect you to reflect in your experience during the course considering the\u00a0moments that you shared with your mentee. Think about the benefits and difficulties you experienced during the building of the journal and the activities held in the course.
