I decided to go back to my first blog where I talked about Smartphone wars.
The reason I’m going back was because of Vicky’s post: But I JUST got my BlackBerry!
With the upcoming release of the BlackBerry Playbook lots of blogs are going insane about it!
Engadget won’t stop blogging about it because it’s one of the most anticipated devices of 2011.
If you ask me, the PlayBook is already behind.
Technology is moving fast, when they announced that it will be dual-core it was a big deal because there were few true dual-core tablets on the market but that was about 6 months ago. Now with the release of the new iPad 2, its kinda getting crazy.
Sometimes technology moves at a pace we can’t keep up with, going back to Vicky’s post. She just got her BlackBerry while she finds out that Androids are taking over the market!
Yeah technology is something that’s very hard to be on top of but I love it.
It’s like dog/cat years for technology!
How do marketers keep up with stuff like this I wonder? How does it affect their promotions?
My educated guess would suggest that they consistently work day in and out to just barely keep up with the pace that our technology advances. It’s cool to see how it will all turn out.
