Hello, dear reader! Welcome to my blog!
My name is Mila and I am currently in my fourth year at UBC, pursuing a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Biology. For some time, my main interests have been narrowed down to human anatomy and physiology, but recently, I have also discovered a growing intrigue towards ecological sciences. My interest in human anatomy and physiology is mainly due to wanting to understand the way the body works, and the attractiveness of the multiple possibilities it has to offer in the form of a career. Ecological sciences allows me to explore novel ways of thinking about our world through extracting and analyzing new data on a larger scale than just the body itself. In general, there are many other fields of academia that I would love to explore (a bit of an aspiring jack of most trades)..
With my biology degree, I plan to apply to nursing school and perhaps tinker in some research involved in patient/ healthcare worker interaction later on. I have a list of things I want to be financially and mentally ready to learn for the next decade, so I look forward to the coming years of learning, failing, and getting back up.
