Things I have learned at Stuyver’s Bakestudio

Duties & Responsibilities & Accomplishments
Every monring I collect the day shift papers of the day before and the night shift papers of the last night. Then I check if there is any problems and sign the papers and scan them to the computer. I have to fill out a form called ‘Daily Quality Control Checks’ everyday. So hourly I go around the plant and check things and write it down. First I look at the temperatures of the 4 freezers and 1 cooler. It should be in a certain range. Then I check the actual baking parts. I check the molding&shaping part first and then I go to the baking oven area and then I look around the packing area. If when the frozen products are shipped I check the temperature to see if it is low enough. Also everyday I pick up some products randomly and evaluate it to see whether the product is in good condition or not.
The products which are made in our company is food. So the quality is an important issue in our company. I have a responsibility to make sure everything is in a good control.
I learned the procedure of bakery products. Everything was in a strict order and I also learned how to handle when an issue arises. For example if there is a complain from a customer we have to process an investigation and write a report about it.
