PROFILE
I am a Registered Dental Hygienist with 19 years of experience as a primary oral health care provider playing an integral role in patient care. I consider myself highly proficient in many areas of modern dentistry including current knowledge of relevant medical conditions affecting oral health, as well as an ability to formulate a dental hygiene treatment plan with disease prevention a priority in achieving optimal health. I provide dental hygiene therapies that are safe and effective using evidence-based research to support soft tissue management, while also following all CDHO guidelines for AGP’s. I work collaboratively with the entire dental team, as well as independently to complete tasks efficiently. With the ever-increasing knowledge of the link between oral health and overall health, I am eager to participate in inter-professional collaboration. To fulfill my desire for more knowledge and personal development, I am currently working towards my Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene.
