In chapter 4, the conflict between Ralph and Jack begins to intensify. Imagine that you are on the island with them and your job is a ____________(builder, hunter, scavenger etc.), what could you do to help Ralph and Jack get along?

Hi everyone, today we got to watch our chapter 3/4 skit presentation and did an activity to help us tighten our logic when writing. Through the activity, we also learned how to write a theme statement! Next class, we will be doing our first lit circle for LOTF; the groups will be the same as the ones for Brave New World. We will be discussing chapter 4; please make sure you have selected a job and come to class prepared to discuss. 🙂

Hi lovely people, today Ms. Paley was talking to you all individually so we worked on creating maps of the island in LOTF. Your maps are all very impressive, especially considering the amount of time you had to work on them.
