There are many websites on the internet that you can use to translate text from one language to another. This can be very helpful, but be careful because languages don’t usually translate easily from one to another. When a student gives me work in French done in Google I can usually tell (unless your brain works like Google Translate!). Check out the two funny videos below to see what I mean.

A website that I recommend for trying to make translations is Linguee. Linguee is special because it shows real examples from the internet, so you can see what certain words and phrases look like.

A good online dictionary is Collins French-English dictionary. You can use this website just how you would use your paper dictionary.
