After receiving my B.A in History from the University of Victoria I embarked on my journey to finally become the teacher I had always wanted to be. I got accepted to the Middle Years/ Self-Regulated Learning cohort at UBC which just happened to include 18 extremely diverse and wonderful people who I have since shared many ups and downs with. The life of a student teacher is a challenging one, but every bump along the road has proven to be worth it. Seeing the progress of both my own learning and my student’s learning is more than rewarding enough to make the challenges worthwhile. I have chosen to write this blog to document some of my experience.
