Tomorrow is the First Day of Classes!
I guess, the title of this post speaks for itself. It is always exciting to think of the first day of classes. However, for me, this time around it is going to be a very special first day. I will not be entering a real classroom and meeting my students face-to-face. Tomorrow, I will officially start a new online course I will be teaching – an Educational Technology in Science and Mathematics. As it is my first experience to teach a course completely online, I am very excited to find out what it will turn out to be. I am looking forward to meet my students virtually – hopefully they will start posting notes about themselves and I will gradually get to know them… I am too excited to write more now… Have to get ready for my first day of my new life at UBC. I am looking forward to it and wish all my students and colleagues a wonderful Winter 2010 term and a very happy new year!
