I developed three graduate courses: Research in mathematics and science teaching and learning (EDCP 559); Mathematics and Science Teaching and Learning through Technology (EDCP 585 A\/B &#8211; face-to-face course);\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/met.ubc.ca\/etec-533\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Technology in Mathematics and Science Classroom<\/a> (ETEC 533)<\/li>\n<li>Since 2012 I have been teaching Physics Methods courses for prospective physics teachers at\u00a0at the Department of Curriculum and Pedagogy at the UBC Faculty of Education.<\/li>\n<li>Since 2012 I have been teaching inquiry and science methods courses for prospective mathematics and science teachers\u00a0at the <a href=\"http:\/\/edcp.educ.ubc.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Department of Curriculum and Pedagogy at the UBC Faculty of Education<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>In 2007-2009 I have been teaching introductory statics courses for future engineers at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.physics.ryerson.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ryerson university<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>In 2008-2009, I have been teaching second year modern physics course at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.physics.ryerson.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ryerson university<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>For more than 12 years I taught a wide range of large undergraduate introductory physics courses (100-350 students per section) at the University of British Columbia, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.physics.ryerson.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ryerson university<\/a>,\u00a0Rutgers, the State University of NJ, The University of Texas at Austin.<\/li>\n<li>In 2002-2004, I have been teaching mathematics and science in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.school-plus.com\/schoolplus\/index.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SchoolPlus in New Jersey<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>During 1994-1998, I have been a research member of the <a href=\"http:\/\/stwww.weizmann.ac.il\/menu\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Weizmann Institute of Science, Science Education Group<\/a> helping to conduct professional development workshops for mathematics and science teachers.<\/li>\n<li>During 1992-1998, I have been a mathematics and science middle school and secondary school teacher in Israel.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Education:<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Ph.D.<\/strong> <strong>in Mathematics and Science Education, May 2001:<\/strong> Specialization: <strong>Curriculum and Instruction, Physics &amp;
