It is so exciting to have an opportunity to inspire new physics teachers. I remember how grateful I was to more experienced physics teachers in Israel who helped me to get started. I especially remember Korina Polinger\u00a0 &#8211; a physics teacher from Rehovot who mentored me. Now it is my turn&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>This year is a very special year for me. First of all, our son got into UBC science and he chose to study physics (I hope his profs will inspire him). I know how much his physics teacher inspired him in high school&#8230;Secondly, our younger son is taking his first physics course in high school &#8211; the previous physics course was an online course. Lastly, UBC is recreating its teacher education. The new program will focus on inquiry, which is perfect for physics teaching&#8230; I hope it is going to be a great year and having 12 future physics teachers is an amazing opportunity.
