Sudbury is a very special place in Canadian and World science as it is \u00a0home of the Sudbury Neutrino Observatory (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.sno.phy.queensu.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/www.sno.phy.queensu.ca\/<\/a>). This year the Congress features a number of events dedicated to the Physics Education Research and the issues related to women in physics. They also have a number of events for physics teachers. \u00a0My presentations are as follows:<\/p>\n<p>1. A special presentation for physics teachers &#8220;Teaching Conceptual Physics with Technology:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/mmilner\/files\/2014\/06\/Presentation_CAP_Teachers_2014.pptx\">Presentation_CAP_Teachers_2014<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/scienceres-edcp-educ.sites.olt.ubc.ca\/\">http:\/\/scienceres-edcp-educ.sites.olt.ubc.ca\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p>2. Invited talk &#8220;The high cost of science disengagement of Canadian Youth: Reimagining Physics Teacher Education for 21st Century \u00a0&#8221;\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/mmilner\/files\/2014\/06\/CAP2014_InvitedMilnerBolotin.pptx\">CAP2014_InvitedMilnerBolotin<\/a><\/p>\n<p>3.
