Yet, I decided to do it because AAPT is such a big part of my life &#8211; both personal and professional that I am very honoured by this award. As I work with future physics teachers I always want to support them as much as I was supported by friends and colleagues in Israel, in the US and in Canada. And the American Association of Physics Teachers (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.aapt.org\/aboutaapt\/Marina-Milner-Bolotin-to-receive-2016-Dodge-Citation.cfm\" target=\"_blank\">www.aapt.org<\/a> ) has played a huge role in my own life as a physics teacher and as a physics education researcher. So I do feel proud and honoured by this award and I do hope my students &#8211; future physics teachers will also decide to join <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bcapt.ca\" target=\"_blank\">BCAPT<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aapt.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">AAPT<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I realize that my mother would not be proud of me making a post about my own award.
