The campaign will end shortly to take a daylong break before election day on June 24.<\/p>\n<p>We provide a general update on the campaign, but will also focus on gender issues, education policy, anti-corruption proposals and the role of Facebook in the election.<\/p>\n<p>Speakers include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Dr.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/mongolia\/analyst\/marissa-smith\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Marissa Smith<\/a>, independent researcher<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/mongolia\/analyst\/batdorj-bulgan\/\">B BULGAN<\/a>, incoming PhD student, Resources, Environment and Sustainability, UBC<\/li>\n<li>Dr.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/mongolia\/analyst\/julian-dierkes\/\">Julian Dierkes<\/a>, Associate Professor, School of Public Policy and Global Affairs<\/li>\n<li>Dr. <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/robertritz88\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Robert Ritz<\/a>,\u00a0 PhD Candidate, Sociology, Ider University and Director, LETU Mongolian American University<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/-lqCBcuGOGg\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h3>Correction<\/h3>\n<p>In Outlook at the end of presentation, Julian Dierkes asked whether queues of people lined up to vote past 22h on June 24, would be allowed to do so and speculated that they would. That is not correct.
