The UBC B.Ed inquiry project is a way for UBC teacher candidates to develop individual professional discernment, of desirable outcomes for education, that can be applied to practices of teaching.  This is a project where UBC teacher candidates can explore what they want to achieve in a classroom setting, and how they plan to achieve it.  Teacher candidates are encouraged to take theories discussed in classes, studies/articles, and personal observations to find various potential solutions to complex issues, and to attempt to put some of the solutions to practice.  This project may be ongoing throughout the UBC teacher candidates’ practicum and future practice.
