2) Does technology connect people, or disconnect them?

As we talked in class today, much of the technology that is created for consumers is to help connect people with information and other people far away. Think about how social interactions have changed since texting was invented. Do people talk to each other, or to computers?

After your group has discussed this your challenge is to use one of the following websites to create some social media for a secondary character from your novel. Think of it as a chance to give a voice to a character that remains silent, or distant as the events of the story pass around them.

Fakebook :Create fake Facebook walls for different characters. Upload images, create groups and friends for your character and have them share their thoughts with the world. Remember to use appropriate language and images for this assignment, but spelling mistakes or abbreviations are allowed if it adds to the character’s voice.
