As part of our commitment to building reading and writing skills we will be completing a novel study during this unit. Click on the links provided to the different possible books to read and choose your top 3 that you would like to read. I will try to give you your first choice but it is first come first serve.

In your groups:

1. Each group meeting your group will be responsible for adding to class website and building a 300 word synopsis of your novel as a group to be shared with the class. You will as a group decide which chapters are to be read for each meeting, and who will lead the group discussion for that day.
2. There are also daily challenges that your group will do as a team based off of your novel.
3. In any format you would like your group will be responsible for answering the following questions using quotes, research and any ideas your group has discussed during our in class time. You can choose to make slid shows, picture collages, comic strips or anything else we have used in our daily challenges.

1) What is human beauty? Can it be found through technology or by changing societies values?

2) Does technology connect people, or disconnect them?

3) In what ways does technology benefit us? In what ways does it hinder us? Do the benefits out way the costs?

4) Do we as users of technology determine how it is used? Or does technology determine how we think and act?
