We’re going to do an activity with the prices we found from last Friday: click here. (if you don’t know your Google log in, please do this activity with a neighbour who does).
Activity: Find the average and median costs of the everyday items listed in the link. Use the formula
=average(C2:F2) and =median(c2:f2).
Tip: There are two shortcuts to cascade the formula down the list.
- drag the bottom right corner of the cell down the list.
- copy the formula, then use CTRL and down arrow to select where you want to paste
