Have you ever heard of a Printer that is not a machine? Printmakers create original artwork in multiples by hand, and in this elective you will learn to as well. This course will explore the dynamics of print making in an interactive and engaging environment. Students will experiment with the types of techniques that made prolific artists such as Andy Warhol famous. We will uncover the mysteries behind printmakers over the generations and play, creating stencils, etchings, relief, screen-printing and more. The course will end in a class-wide print card exchange.
