Over my practicum I brought in Guest Artist and Ceramicist Nolan Drew into my Ceramics classes. For Nolan, art making is an incredibly important part of the human experience. He defines himself as a ceramic artist but at the same time he uses sketch books, paintings and photographs to develop ideas. The students enjoyed his presentation, seeing his work, and watching him on the wheel.
