About Me

I was born and raised in Vancouver, and went to McGill University for my undergraduate degree. In university I discovered my love for psychology and child development, and decided to declare a major in psychology, with a minor in linguistics. I am now at UBC in the 11 month Bachelor of Education Program, in the TELL-3C cohort. I have known for a long time that teaching would be what I would do, so to have it all coming together to make teaching a reality is kind of surreal. I don’t think it will feel like real life until I step into a classroom with a lesson plan in hand!

In my (limited) spare time I like to spend time with family and friends, trying new foods or going for walks. I like to stay active, but I also  balance that out by spending time at home with a tv show or a book.  I played soccer for many years growing up and am currently on a team which I am greatly enjoying! I am an animal rescue advocate and have two rescue dogs. Thanks for checking out my blog and stay tuned for program updates!
