On a separate piece of paper, use full sentences to answer the following:
- Identify and explain three instances of foreshadowing that lead up to the accident. Include quotations and page numbers.
- Find an example of each type of conflict in the story (person vs. person, person vs. self, person vs. environment). Briefly describe each conflict.
- Describe Peggy’s relationship with Ken before the accident. How does her perception of the relationship change after the accident?
- Does Ken show Peggy that he feels any sense of responsibility to her after the accident? Do you think he has any obligation to her? Explain your answer.
