I want to dedicate this page to present the connections between theories that I learned at UBC and the practical experience that I had during my practicum.

Intertwining Elements for Learning

Before going into my practicum, I really did not understand why we had to learn so many seemingly common sensed theories. Now I realized that our practice is based on the theories that we have learned. We may not have realized how we have come up with such lessons (other than following the PLOs), but I have learned so much about social emotional learning that many of my lessons had tiny elements that addressed that category. It is actually kind of fun to reflect on my own experiences to see how much I have been influenced by the intense BEd daily classes. 😛
