Being in the Dual Degree Education program, I was able to think about and write two teaching philosophies, a year apart, before even starting my teaching practicum. It is definitely a privilege because I have been able to self-reflect on why I teach, and what my passions are that I want to share. I was able to see a growth and change in my perspective as an educator, and I hope to continue to evolve and develop my teaching philosophy.
